Passive House Alberta

Earlier this year, great news came our way; Passive House Alberta is officially formed as a non-profit foundation!

SERI is excited to be a part of the energetic and dedicated group committed to furthering the adoption of the Passive House building standard in Alberta. Chris de Laforest is a founding board member, and Elan de Laforest  has been selected as the Executive Director for the foundation. We are proud to be part of Alberta's energy efficient future!

The website for the foundation (www.passivehousealberta.com) is under development.  Passive House Alberta is a non-profit foundation offering education and awareness tools. Our community of experts is committed to making buildings more functional, efficient, and healthier.  Using the Passive House building methodology, we can help you build the better buildings needed for comfort, climate, and cost savings.

Passive House Alberta is here for you; consider us your library, a place to go for information, resources, and events to help with passive house projects, plans, and even curious questions.  In 12 years, a net zero ready national building code will be developed as governments advance standards to ensure highly energy efficient buildings.
